Keep calm and celebrate IT professional holidays

Keep calm and celebrate IT professional holidays

Every day more than a half of humanity on our great planet Earth goes to work and once a year almost every employed person has their own professional holiday when they can be appreciated, feel valued and … party hard without being judged!

So, let’s talk about our IT guys (because eventually it’s all about them) and find out those precious days when they can relax and celebrate their achievements.

The first one is the Programmers’ Day, an international professional day proposed first in Russia in 2002 and accepted in many IT companies. It takes place on September 13 in the common year and on September 12 in the leap year. Can you imagine all programmers partying at the same time? I can. It’s getting hot here.

The next is the Web Designer Day which is held on May 31. I would say it is the holiday of art because how many masterpieces you can find that have been created by these talented people. I’m sure they can come up with something creative and unusual to celebrate their professional holiday. It should be something superb.

The third one is the Sysadmin Appreciation Day which is celebrated on last Friday of July. It is exactly the appreciation day because how can we do without a person who makes sure that all the hardware and software works fine? And not only we, but any other, even not IT, company? Definitely an irreplaceable worker, so, make your sysadmins happy.

Also there are Google Developer and Android Developer Days which are not exactly holidays but days when different conference and seminars are held. But that’s only a detail because who cares when your heart fills with joy and you want to celebrate this beautiful day and, all in all, everybody has their own way to enjoy themselves and maybe, for someone, this is a perfect one. Are you a Google or Android developer? Then, go for it. You deserve it.

To sum up, I must say that it doesn’t matter if it is the Programmers’ Day or just another working Monday. You don’t need a holiday to be appreciated, so, when you feel it’s time to rock, just ROCK!
