Interview with CTO and Co-Founder of Karmagenes.co: Dr. Samer Yammine

Co-founder of Karmagenes

  1. What was the most complex issue in developing your MVP?

The complexity of our MVP resided in the KG AI algorithm. We are first to use a polygenic approach to link information extracted from DNA and behavioral characteristics. Hence, we had to build from scratch the most comprehensive yet complicated code, tweak, and test complex human behavior linked to the most personal of all, the DNA, the blueprint of life.

  1. What was the biggest technical challenge in developing your product?

The main challenge, I am sure, it is the most common one as well, simply, COMMUNICATION. The most crucial part in early development, is to have a developer that listens, understands, and helps build a model out of scattered information. Once, the communication is interrupted, even for a day, things can go rogue. Dealing with complex inputs isn’t a challenge for most developers but once these inputs are biological and connected to the most sensitive aspect of human, their behaviors, finding the best talents that can cope with such challenges does become a difficulty.

  1. What plans on future releases do you have now? (What users may expect new)

We are constantly listening to our early adopters, and customers’ feedback, improving our products and enhancing our users’ experience. Our main product, the DNA-Based Personality test, currently, delivers a great interactive report with lots of personal customisation. Additional reports will be added soon to enrich users’ most personal library about themselves. We took the challenge to build a gamified psychological assessment, we will continue our mission and deliver the most advanced, accurate, and fun to play psychological assessment. We are always looking for partners and collaborators to accelerate the path toward the end goal.

We wish Karmagenes startup fast and successful growth!
