Event Manager (closed)
Back Office Team
Mobilunity is looking for an experienced and organized Event Manager to help us take care of our people and add some more fun to our everyday routine.
We know well that behind any party and festive mood should always be a strong manager who performs loads of work and takes care of each smallest detail. Currently we have over 200 of smart, funny and definitely amazing people and we keep growing – that is why we need someone who will take responsibility for each event within a company and make sure everyone is satisfied with how it goes.
Your main tasks on this position will be:
- Taking care of each event within the company – starting from one-day challenges or flash mobs up to large celebrations like New Year party or company’s birthday
- Making sure everything needed for the events are there and everyone is totally happy with how event runs
- Being responsible for our affinity groups (for now we have 3 – football, basketball and music band but more are yet to come). You will establish new groups if needed, develop the existing ones and do marketing within the company
- Coordinating work of our lovely Media Production team – creating pictures and videos for internal use
Sounds like a responsible work, right? It apparently is, so we have a list of what you need to have to obtain this position:
- Experience in organizing events, both internal or for external customers. We understand how much of tasks you will be facing so the more experience you have, the better.
- High attention to the details and complex vision of the organizing process. Seriously, you should know exactly how many pizza’s we need to order so that everyone has enough!
- Expert level in communication. Our first goal is to keep our people happy and satisfied, so you should be a good friend to them to understand what kind of an event they would prefer.
- Proper level of creativeness. Everyone will be bored if we do the same event every now and then, so it will be brilliant if you can come up with unusual but still funny ideas.
- Good managing skills (for both time management, resource management and people management). We want to be sure you see the whole organizing process clearly and everything runs smoothly, so this position is all about managing.
- English level no less than Upper Intermediate – both spoken and written. All the communication in our team goes in English so we don’t want you to miss a thing.
- Good knowledge of Google Office package, Redmine, Trello or similar task tracking system – so you store all the material in one place and never lose any piece of information. We also use Pinnacle and similar mobile software for creating GIF’s, so if you know how to use any of them, it will be a plus.
- Experience in coordinating photo or video production is not obligatory, but will be a big advantage.
We really want you to be very attentive. So to be sure you really are we will ask you to write a short cover letter and mention your favorite singer there.
Joining the Mobilunity team, in addition to working in a friendly and supportive environment and having an incredibly wide space for turning your ideas in life, you will get:
- Full-time job with flexible working hours;
- Financial stability, payments in due time and against one of the best USD to UAH exchange rates;
- Paid vacation and paid sick leave (+3 paid days per every 6 months without sick list);
- No dress code;
- Game area and peers to play with (billiard, table soccer, X-box, ping pong tables etc);
- Open terraces for fresh-air lunches;
- Corporate parties and affinity groups to spend evenings playing basketball, football or music!
