ABOUT THE PROJECT:

Our client is an outsourcing incorporation, which is basically part of a larger holding company that typically operates in the Real Estate, and hospitality business, based in the USA. It performs the management platform, empowered by custom software and proprietary methods, which helps to identify business or investment opportunities for its founder and to consolidate the operation and management of such opportunities on a single platform. This outsourcing incorporation facilitates the business integration through accounting support, HR solutions, legal strategies, IT infrastructure, and capital access. Currently they manage several businesses and investments in Real Estate, Private Equity, Information Technology and Hospitality.

This particular project is a task management system that was originally meant for the hospitality industry but has been adjusted to fit for a government contract with the State Department of  California. Being a part of an international team gives you an opportunity to work remotely, exchanging your own professional experience and solving tasks with your colleagues from the USA. On current project works experienced PM from Ukraine, so he is responsible for the main part of direct communication with the product owner and customer. You will be part of a team of strong, result-oriented professionals developing new generation tasks management, people management and learning platform. Primarily this is a short-term commitment (2 months) with the possibility of extension.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • 3+ years of front-end development experience;
  • Hands on Angular 6+;
  • Advanced experience with TypeScript;
  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS (Sass);
  • Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles;
  • TDD experience (Jasmine or similar);
  • Knowledge of OOP, design concepts and patterns;
  • Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image;
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them;
  • Understanding of single-page applications development;
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git/Mercurial/SVN;
  • Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies;
  • Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Experience in multi-tenant SaaS business application development ERP, HR, CRM;
  • Experience with Razor rendering;
  • Good knowledge of software configuration management processes and tools (MSDevOps, Docker or similar, life-cycle management in either AWS or Azure platforms);
  • Team player with positive and resilient mindset, stress tolerance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Build modern web application using Angular framework and industry-standard design practices;
  • Implement new features covered with Unit Tests;
  • Work with Business Analysts and UX specialists to develop product specifications and design;
  • Analyze and estimate implementation efforts;
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability;
  • Assist in ensuring defects and incidents are dealt with, and that any new versions of software are released in a controlled and timely manner.
