About the project/role:

Our client specializes in communications technology and services. Its mission is to deliver the tools telecom providers need to manage complex systems more efficiently, helping reduce operating costs and ensuring optimal quality of service. The project is the platform that includes large CRM part together with ERP and some IoT parts for device management, so that user can keep everything related to the system in one place. The Technical Architect will be working directly with the product director to help connect the dots between business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience with a wide range of technology and will be able to quickly learn and adapt to our current platforms and business directions. This role requires a proactive, creative thinker to help our existing team compose and deliver data-driven solutions, with the interpersonal skills and ambition to be the driving force behind our products.

An Ideal Candidate will be familiar with:

Web development
Relational databases
Time-series management and visualization (e.g. Grafana)
Best practice in Web applications and APIs
Security
Using Linux

Required Technical Skills (in priority order):

In general, a Technical Architect will:

be willing to learn the technologies we use, and adapt to new ones presented by our customers and other parts of the business
undertake structured analysis of technical issues, translating this analysis into technical designs that describe a solution
be responsible for the design and development of various projects
define technical strategy and be key to assuring services
regularly collaborate and find agreement with the product director, providing direction and challenge
be proactive in identifying problems and translating these into non-technical descriptions that can be widely understood
mentor and support other colleagues

Typical Tasks may include:

managing an ETL (extract, transform, load) operation on a new set of data
composing multiple open-source platforms to stand up a prototype of open-source solutions
providing technical guidance to colleagues who are blocked on operational tasks or
problems
identifying resources needed to implement new platforms
interacting with colleagues to help them accomplish coding and solution delivery
