On behalf of our Dutch client, we are looking for a professional Ruby on Rails developer with plenty of RoR experience and a strong desire to apply that knowledge in practice.
Our client represents itself as a Software-as-a-Service product for the rental industry. Their app is built with Ruby on Rails and React + Redux. In 2014, they’ve started building a rental platform from scratch to make enterprise-grade software available to small and medium-sized rental businesses. Today, they’re the rental software of choice for rental companies and large organizations worldwide (voted category leader on review platform Capterra). To maintain that momentum, they need new people to join us in finding new ways of solving unique challenges for rental companies.
Responsibilities:
- Working together with the product team to build awesome new features
- Advising on and solve technical issues
- Contributing to our roadmap
- Being up-to-date on the latest technologies and developments
Requirements:
- Experience of working with Ruby on Rails for at least 4 years
- Several years of React experience
- Experience with MVC, OOP
- Experience with relational databases
- Experience with TDD or BDD
- Experience with Git and code-reviewing
- You are flexible, a team player, and someone with an eye for detail
- Able to take ownership and write scalable, maintainable code
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- You have full proficiency (written and verbal) in English
