On behalf of our customer from the UK, Mobilunity is looking for a Senior Java Developer.

 

About the project:

 

Our client is a multi-platform seller, that processes over 4000 orders per day, listing products internationally across a number of marketplaces including all major Worldwide platforms for Amazon and Ebay, as well as Rakuten and CDiscount. They offer Worldwide shipping on their website and have international stores for UK, Germany, US and France.
They create product analytics and business intelligence platform for companies owning or using marketplaces. It gathers granulated level data about products, sales and profitability of each platform where products are being sold.
Potentially there may be developing of a mobile version as an add-on for web version that exists and needs adding more new features.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Analyze requirements presented from the business
• Design, build and maintain high quality Java code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation

 

Requirements:

 

• Proficient in Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
• Familiar with good practice design and architectural patterns
• Knack for writing clean, readable Java code
• Knowledge of SQL and relational database use and design (MySQL)
• Understanding of object mapping and transaction management (JavaEE/EJB)
• Competency in web stack HTML/CSS/JS (JSF)
• Familiarity with network/internet technologies TCP, HTTP, RESTful and SOAP
• Use of source revision control tools (Subversion)
• Unix basics useful (Ubuntu 18.04)
