DevOps Engineer

On behalf of our Client from the UK, Mobilunity is looking for a DevOps Engineer for a long-term engagement.

Our Customer is an eCommerce expert with a proven track record in rail ticketing, web and mobile software development. They focus on public transport software products. The company started at the end of 2014 with five people and has since grown to over 20 members of staff, more than half of which are developers. The company now serves a long list of clients including Southern, Southeastern, Thameslink, Great Northern, and Gatwick Express railway.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in AWS infrastructure design and management
• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Strong knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, ELB, and Route 53
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure best practices
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation and CDK
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Github Actions, or equivalent
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with serverless computing and AWS Lambda
• Level of English – Upper-Intermediate and higher
