On behalf of our Client from Germany, Mobilunity is looking for a DevOps Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer.

Our customer is a company that produces and broadcasts content related to equestrian sports. With rights to broadcast the most significant equestrian sporting events all over Europe and in the USA, they are the industry’s largest content provider company for fans of equestrian sports.

What Makes You a Fit:

  • 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer, with a focus on AWS infrastructure
  • Professional Experience: Proven track record in operating, scaling, debugging, and optimizing LEMP and Docker-based microservices on AWS.
  • Infrastructure as code: Experience with infrastructure automation tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Application Monitoring: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Prometheus
  • Support our customers experience: You are willing to work in the US time zones (UTC-10 to UTC-4) and occasionally during weekends
  • Communication Skills: Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing)

What Makes You Shine:

  • Experience operating Kubernetes on AWS
  • Strong understanding of AWS services, including ECS, Cloudfront, Lambda, EC2, S3 and RDS
  • Experience providing stable and easy to use environments to developers based on Docker and Localstack
  • Usage and optimization of CI/CD pipelines, preferable based on Gitlab Pipelines
  • Knowledge of running PHP applications beyond CGI
  • Usage of code quality toolings and how to integrate those into a CI/CD process
  • AWS Cloud practitioner/DevOps Engineer/Security certification
  • Experience with AWS Media Services and global content caching and delivery through AWS services
