On behalf of our Client, a well-established financial institution from the Caribbean region Mobilunity is looking for a Digital Platform Owner
Our Client is the largest bank in the Caribbean region that serves 14 countries/territories. The aim is to make this organization from a traditional bank into a new era of fintech, working on the edge of what current fintech may offer.
The Platform Owner plays an essential role in guiding the direction of their digital products. By championing the voice of the user and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, the Platform Owner ensures that their products meet the highest standards and align with the business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Product Vision and Strategy:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and set the product vision and strategy.
- Ensure alignment between product strategy and business objectives.2. Backlog Management:
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog on a high level, ensuring clarity and alignment with business goals.3. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the main point of contact for product-related questions and feedback.
- Take part in business calls related to discovery or requirements gathering processes
- Communicate product progress, challenges, and changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Gather and incorporate feedback into the product backlog.4. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Work closely with IT BA
- Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior-prepared tasks to work on.
- Provide clarity and guidance when questions or challenges arise and asked by IT BA.5. User Feedback and Analysis:
- Monitor user feedback and product performance metrics.
- Use data-driven approaches to inform product decisions and improvements.6.Continuous Improvement:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and advancements in technology.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the product team.
Expected outputs:
Before assigning or requesting work from the BA, the PO must provide the following outputs (inputs for BA):
1. Business Context
- Clear description of why the change is needed (problem statement or business driver).
- Link to any regulatory requirement, or business meeting summary where the decision was made.
- Epic with the described feature at least high-level requirements
Expected business outcome or KPI impact (e.g., increase card usage, improve transparency, reduce disputes).
2. Scope & Boundaries
- Reference to related existing functionalities or modules that may be impacted.
- Indication if this is a new feature or change to existing logic.
3. Key Business Rules
- All business-level rules or formulas that define expected behavior (e.g., cashback %, billing cycle logic, rounding rules).
- References to official business documentation if such (slides, CRD, meeting notes, etc.).
4. Dependencies and Stakeholders
