On behalf of our customer from Germany we are looking for a Middle Frontend Developer (React). The project is a back-office system for large educational company.

 

 

ABOUT THE PROJECT:

 

Our client is a provider of educational courses, focused mainly on professional education and qualifications. They have over 200 centers all over Germany, hundreds of teachers and thousands of students. We are developing a back-office system from scratch to keep all the data and operate it.

 

Stack is PHP/Symfony for server-side and React for client-side. Architecture will be based on self-contained systems.

 

We have a team in Kyiv including one Fullstack developer/Teamlead, 2 Backend developers and 1 Frontend developer. Two other teams will be located in Lviv and Minsk, all reporting to head office in Berlin.

 

Apart from the developers team there will be a Scrum Master in Kyiv office who will communicate and organize all 3 teams.

 

Occasionally German management will be inviting the team for a short business trip to Berlin in order to work on site. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Development of the Front-End part of the web application
• Participation in Code Review
• Participation in daily meetings and planning
• Participation in documentation writing
• Development and implementation of new technologies

 

Requirements:

 

• 2 or more years with HTML/CSS, JavaScript (es6+)
• Hands-on commercial experience with React
• Experience of working with MobX or Redux
• English – intermediate level and higher

 

Will be a plus:

 

• Experience with typescript
• Experience of writing unit tests with Jest and Enzyme
