Our Client’s company creates intelligent technology to promote corporate integrity and culture. They work in collaboration with large organizations to develop analytic software that fosters integrity through rigorous, data-driven insights.

You will work with people with diverse expertise in software, design, big data, and product management. Our Customer gives team members room to grow their own ideas while developing shared perspectives to solve complex problems. Our client continually seeks to design cutting-edge approaches to proactively mitigate some of the most difficult issues facing organizations, including fraud, bribery, and harassment.

Job description:

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who thrives in an independent, innovation-focused environment and is passionate about solving real-world problems for our customers and delivering value continuously. Our rapidly growing team has diverse expertise in engineering, data science, and regulatory law. The platform we’re building from the ground up will have major regulatory and reputational consequences for both organizations and people.

Must have skills:

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer with a focus on backend technologies (Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Terraform, etc)
• strong understanding of Git and CI / CD workflows (GitOps, GitHub Flow, etc)
• the drive to automate everything (tests, deployments, monitoring, etc)
• demonstrated experience with the full software development life cycle, including code reviews, automation, monitoring, and support
• the fundamental desire for continuous learning and improvement
• deep understanding of Agile and iterative development
• self-motivated and comfortable with a fast-paced startup environment
• level of English – Upper Intermediate and higher

Nice-to-have:

• experience at a SaaS-based company
• knowledge of AWS services
