ABOUT THE PROJECT

Our client is an American-Australian company which created a virtuality reality platform that provides speech therapy solutions to people that stutter, overcoming barriers of lack of access and availability of therapists. The current platform is an MVP which was used as a proof of concept, but now they are aiming to take that platform to the next level.

Our client is interested in a long term engagement. You will be dealing primarily with the team and tech lead from the USA, which means a great opportunity to work in a multicultural team and to share your professional experiences with each other.

REQUIREMENTS:

Healthcare and Life Sciences Specific Expertise and Experience;
Deep understanding of HIPAA compliance requirements and technical experience in working in or with Covered Entities;
Understanding of the public cloud market and pain points driving healthcare cloud adoption;
Understanding of and experience with the following healthcare data standards: HL7 and FHIR;
Understanding of the following healthcare information technologies: EHRs, CDS Hooks, PHRs, Telemedicine, Remote Monitoring, Clinical Decision Support;
Knowledge of the following healthcare information technologies: Digital Health/Wearables, Mobile, Dicom/Imaging, Genomics;
Knowledge of the following healthcare data standards: DICOM, NCPDP, IEEE;
Knowledge of the following Regulatory and Compliance Frameworks: FDA, FDASIA, 21 Century Cures Act, GDPR, Stark Law, and Sunshine Act;
Awareness of healthcare payment methods (e.g. Accountable Care Organizations and Shared Saving Programs) and ICD10 Coding;
Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols (OAuth 2.0);
Strong knowledge of DevOps processes and tools in the cloud;
Experience in transforming legacy on premise architecture into modernized cloud-based solutions including utilizing micro-services, containerization;
Subject matter expert on Amazon Web Services cloud components, including Compute, Network and Storage (IaaS and PaaS) and services;
5+ years of proven technical leadership as a Solution Architect or Senior Developer;
Google Cloud Platform Cloud Architect Certification;
AWS Certified Developer – Associate;
Excellent verbal and written English.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with cross-functional product teams to ensure proper implementation of the product vision, focusing always on simplicity and ease of use;
Partnering with Business Stakeholders and Engineering to define product requirements, and staying engaged with current product roadmaps;
Leading product-level design discussions, workshops, decision-making, and documentation;
Providing product teams with clear and actionable design guidance for complex features in the form of workflows, sketches at a wide range of fidelity, mockups, wireframes, prototypes, etc;
Articulating a design vision grounded in sound user research and practical technical awareness, in alignment with overall business priorities;
Basing your design decisions on quantitative and qualitative data from user research with our customers;
Ability to gamify product experiences;
Create a meaningful and memorable experiences in Virtual Reality (Immersive 3D compared to flat 2D).
