Senior Agile Product Manager

On behalf of our Client from the US, Mobilunity is looking for a Senior Agile Product Manager.

We are looking for a hands-on, remote Senior Agile Product Manager to drive the delivery of web applications and other technology implementations for our clients. This role is ideal for an experienced product and delivery professional who enjoys working closely with clients, engineering teams, designers, and Customer Success Managers to transform business objectives into successful digital products and ensure predictable, high-quality delivery.

As a Senior Agile Product Manager, you will own product delivery from discovery and requirements gathering through development, testing, launch, and post-launch optimization. You will manage priorities, scope, timelines, and delivery plans while remaining technically engaged enough to challenge assumptions, facilitate technical discussions, and help teams identify practical solutions to complex problems.

Responsibilities:

Product & Delivery Leadership

• Lead fast-paced Agile software development processes in close collaboration with engineering, design, Customer Success, and client teams.
• Own delivery of web applications and technology implementations from discovery through launch and post-launch maintenance.
• Manage project scope, priorities, schedules, dependencies, risks, and delivery plans across large or complex initiatives.
• Ensure predictable execution and timely delivery while maintaining product quality and business value.
• Actively identify and remove delivery blockers and drive issues through to resolution.
• Continuously improve product development and delivery processes, team workflows, and ways of working.
• Take ownership of whatever is required to make the product and team successful, from defining a QA approach to investigating the root cause of a client issue.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Work directly with clients and external partners to understand their business objectives, challenges, and product needs.
• Lead discovery sessions and translate business objectives into clear product requirements and actionable delivery plans.
• Build strong relationships with clients and act as a trusted product and delivery partner throughout the engagement.
• Facilitate discussions between business and technical stakeholders and ensure alignment on priorities, scope, and expected outcomes.
• Clearly communicate project status, risks, dependencies, trade-offs, and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Manage changing requirements and competing priorities while maintaining focus on business objectives and delivery commitments.

Product Discovery & Requirements

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements with clients, engineering teams, designers, and external partners.
• Translate business needs into product scope, user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable backlog items.
• Own and continuously prioritize the product backlog based on business value, technical dependencies, customer needs, and delivery constraints.
• Decompose complex product initiatives into manageable epics, features, and user stories.
• Ensure requirements are sufficiently clear for engineering and design teams to estimate and execute.
• Identify gaps and ambiguities in requirements and resolve them before development begins.
• Maintain a big-picture understanding of the product while remaining detail-oriented in day-to-day execution.

Engineering Collaboration & Technical Delivery

• Work closely with engineering teams to decompose product scope, estimate complexity, identify dependencies, and create realistic delivery plans.
• Be technically confident enough to challenge assumptions, ask the right questions, and facilitate technical discussions with engineers.
• Understand modern web application architecture and be able to engage in discussions around technical constraints, trade-offs, integrations, and implementation approaches.
• Help teams evaluate alternative solutions and make pragmatic decisions that balance business needs, technical complexity, quality, and timelines.
• Identify technical risks early and ensure they are properly addressed or escalated.
• Support engineering teams in resolving complex delivery and product issues.
• Ensure product requirements and technical implementation remain aligned throughout the development lifecycle.

Agile & Process Excellence

• Lead Agile ceremonies including planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and other delivery activities as required.
• Establish and maintain effective Agile practices across distributed teams.
• Ensure the backlog remains healthy, prioritized, and ready for development.
• Monitor delivery progress and proactively identify risks to scope, schedule, quality, or resources.
• Use Agile metrics and delivery insights to continuously improve team performance and predictability.
• Coach and support other Product Managers on effective product discovery, prioritization, stakeholder management, and Agile delivery practices.

Analytics & Product Optimization

• Use web analytics and product data to understand user behavior, identify opportunities, and support product decisions.
• Work with tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Tag Managers to support measurement and optimization.
• Partner with clients and engineering teams to define meaningful product and business metrics.
• Use data and customer feedback to prioritize improvements and validate product decisions.
• Support continuous improvement of live websites and digital products after launch.

AI-Assisted Product Management

• Use AI tools to improve product discovery, requirements analysis, documentation, research, planning, and delivery workflows.
• Identify opportunities to incorporate AI into product management and software delivery processes.
• Work effectively with engineering teams using AI-assisted development tools and understand their impact on product planning, estimation, quality, and delivery.
• Continuously explore ways to improve team productivity and product development processes through responsible use of AI.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Agile software development as a Project Manager, Product Manager, Program Manager, or similar role, preferably managing large 10+ person or complex projects.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Jira, and modern software delivery methodologies.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including:

• Proven experience delivering client-facing digital products and web applications.
• Strong experience gathering business and functional requirements and translating them into product scope, epics, features, and user stories.
• Experience creating, managing, and prioritizing product backlogs in iterative software development environments.
• Experience working with technical teams to estimate scope, identify dependencies, and create realistic project timelines and resource plans.
• Strong project and delivery management skills, including scope, schedule, priorities, risks, and dependencies.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently drive issues through to resolution.
• Technical understanding sufficient to challenge engineering assumptions and facilitate technical discussions.
• Hands-on experience with web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tag Managers, or similar.
• Experience coaching or mentoring other Product Managers.
• Experience with AI tools and concepts and an understanding of their application in product and software development.
• Agile certification is required.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed, and fast-paced environment.
