Web Frontend Developer

On behalf of our Client, Mobilunity is looking for a Web Frontend Developer & UI/UX Designer for a short-term independent contractor engagement.   

Our client is an innovative company focused on creating premium digital products that combine technology, design, and exceptional user experience. They are a lean, entrepreneurial team with a collaborative culture that values precision, accountability, and thoughtful execution.

In this role, you will help create outstanding digital experiences across the client’s web platform. You will be responsible for delivering a defined pipeline of UI/UX, front-end development, and digital marketing projects, working closely with the CTO and collaborating with Engineering, Sales & Marketing, and Design teams. Your work will involve taking ideas from concept to production, implementing new features, and continuously improving the user experience.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys both visual design and front-end development and is comfortable building clean, responsive, and maintainable code in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Front-End Development:

• Develop responsive interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React
• Translate designs into clean, maintainable production code
• Build reusable UI components that improve development efficiency
• Optimize front-end performance, accessibility, and responsiveness

Email Development & Marketing Support:

• Design and build responsive HTML email campaigns and transactional emails
• Ensure email compatibility across major email clients and devices
• Develop landing pages and campaign assets supporting marketing initiatives

Collaboration:

• Report directly to the CTO while partnering with Sales & Marketing, Operations, Customer Care, and Design
• Participate in planning, design reviews, and technical discussions
• Help establish front-end standards and best practices
• Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining a high level of quality

Requirements:

Must-have:

• 3+ years of professional experience in front-end development
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React
• Experience designing and coding responsive HTML emails
• Experience with Figma
• Strong understanding of responsive web design and accessibility
• Excellent attention to detail and visual craftsmanship
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows

Nice to Have:

• Shopify or Shopify Liquid experience
• Experience with UI/UX design
• Experience with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo
• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or component libraries
• Experience working for an eCommerce or luxury consumer brand
