AQA Engineer

On behalf of our Client, a well-established financial institution from the Caribbean region Mobilunity is looking for an AQA Engineer. 

Our Client is the largest bank in the Caribbean region that serves 14 countries/territories. The aim is to make this organization from a traditional bank into a new era of fintech, working on the edge of what current fintech may offer.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of our software applications
• Collaborate with the development team to understand application features, user stories, and acceptance criteria to create automated test cases
• Contribute to the improvement and maintenance of automation testing frameworks to support multiple applications and platforms
• Research and implement new testing tools and practices to enhance the automation testing process
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to support continuous delivery and deployment
• Work with the platform team to optimize the testing phase of the deployment pipeline
• Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report testing status to the AQA Tech Lead and relevant stakeholders
• Identify, log, and track defects, and work with the development team to facilitate issue resolution
• Collaborate closely with the AQA Tech Lead, developers, product owners, and other team members to understand requirements and provide insights
• Share knowledge of automation best practices and contribute to the continuous learning of the team

Requirements:

• Five years’ experience in software testing and using automation testing tools
• Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar
• Experience with JavaScript
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools, ideally Azure DevOps
• Experience with Appium
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
• Level of English – Upper-Intermediate and higher
