On behalf of our Client from Hong Kong, Mobilunity is looking for a  Junior Automation QA Engineer.

They are looking for a driven Junior QA Engineer to join their global team and help set up automated QA processes to complement the existing manual QA efforts. As part of a dynamic team, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of their expanding platform. Our client values passion and a willingness to learn, regardless of age or prior experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up and maintaining automated QA processes to enhance testing efficiency
• Collaborate with manual QA staff to create a seamless testing strategy across the product lifecycle
• Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for new and existing features
• Identify, document, and track bugs, working closely with developers to resolve issues
• Conduct regression testing and ensure product quality across various platforms
• Participate in code reviews and offer insights on improving quality standards

Must have:

• Basic understanding of automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar)
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
• Ability to collaborate with manual QA and development teams
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of Python or other scripting languages (bonus)
• Level of English – Strong Intermediate and higher

Nice to have:

• Experience in automated testing tools and setting up QA pipelines
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools (e.g., Jenkins)
• Understanding of software testing methodologies (e.g., regression testing, integration testing)
• Experience in testing web applications and REST APIs
