IT Business Analyst

On behalf of our Client, a well-established financial institution from the Caribbean region Mobilunity is looking for an IT Business Analyst. 

Our Client is the largest bank in the Caribbean region that serves 14 countries/territories. The aim is to make this organization from a traditional bank into a new era of fintech, working on the edge of what current fintech may offer.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather detailed business requirements.
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and meetings to extract requirements.
• Analyze and refine requirements for feasibility and clarity.
• Prioritize requirements based on business value and complexity.
• Produce clear and concise documentation for requirements using tools and templates.
• Document current and future state business processes.
• Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring mutual understanding and alignment.
• Obtain requirement validation and sign-offs from stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into actionable tasks for technical teams.
• Assist the technical team in understanding the requirements, answering queries, and providing clarifications.
• Collaborate with the QA team to ensure that the implemented solution meets the requirements.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring that requirements are delivered as expected.
• Communicate updates and changes in requirements to all relevant stakeholders.
• Collect feedback on delivered features and incorporate it into future requirements.
• Identify opportunities for business process improvements.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in using tools like Jira, Confluence.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field.
• Level of English – Upper-Intermediate and higher.
