ON BEHALF OF OUR CLIENT FROM FRANCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PHP DEVELOPER (SYMFONY 4).

Our client connects millions of buyers and merchants around the world to unlock cross-border trade. The company provides advanced international marketing solutions for ecommerce retailers and brands seeking to grow their businesses’ globally. Using a suite of automated localization tools, merchants can quickly launch their stores on international markets and promote them to new audiences with Google Shopping Ads.

Requirements:

2+ years of recent production quality PHP product development experience;
Strong knowledge of Symfony 4 PHP framework;
Knowledge of developing and debugging web applications;
Basic front-end JavaScript skills (content manipulation, events, HTML5 APIs);
Knowledge of the HTTP protocol and the DNS protocol;
Strong communication skills in English.

Good to have:

Experience in scalability and caching techniques;
Familiarity with HTML parsing and DOM manipulation;
Familiarity with text processing using Regular Expressions;
Knowledge of TDD (PHPUnit);
Familiarity with TypeScript or Node.Js.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining system software components on the Back-end and Front-end to localize and proxy e-commerce websites that are using a variety of popular e-commerce platforms (Magento, Shopify, BigCommerce);
Working with cloud services on Google Cloud Platform;
Providing technical support by troubleshooting issues and creating bug fixes;
Testing software functionality, debugging, and performance tuning.
