SFCC Architect

About the project: 

The client itself is a Salesforce Gold Certified Partner and a leading provider of retail-specific cloud and mobile software, driving digital transformation for the world’s largest companies. It connects organizations, brands, technology and people through design-driven transformation, creating amazing customer experiences and building digital products. The company operates in America, Europe and Emerging Markets through its offices in New York, London, Paris and Tel Aviv.

 

Responsibilities: 
  • Provide architectural oversight for development of client implementations on the SFCC platform
  • Ensuring architectural integrity of the system
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and client services architects on the design of new and innovative solutions and integrations to the SFCC platform
  • Provide technical problem resolution to complex issues which can come from clients who are piloting or implementing new solutions, or internal teams
  • Implement new features using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware)
  • Debug and troubleshoot software defects
  • Provide updates to effort estimates and status of assigned tasks
  • Write technical documentation
  • Mentoring team members
Requirements: 
  • 7+ years of software development experience
  • At least 5 years of experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware), not just bugs fixing
  • Software architecture design knowledge using object-oriented and modularity principles
  • Strong skills in jQuery and Bootstrap or a similar library
  • Knowledge of native JavaScript
  • Experience in working with APIs and 3rd party system integrations
  • Expertise developing products using web services, XML, SOAP, REST, HTTPS, API, RSA encryption, XPath, and XSD Schemas
  • Experience with any VCS (Git is preferred)
  • Knowledge of JS build engines like gulp or webpack, release manager experience
  • Proven working experience with e-commerce concepts and challenges
  • Experience in performance optimization (server and client)
  • Knowledge of complex features and integrations
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal is required
  • Intermediate level of English
Nice to have:
  • Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) developer certification would be considered as a huge plus
