Technical Consultant (Microsoft Business Central & Power BI)

On behalf of our Client from the  UK, Mobilunity is looking for a Technical Consultant (Microsoft Business Central & Power BI).
Our client is a rapidly expanding software group specializing in acquiring and growing companies within the Microsoft ecosystem. One of their key ventures is a fast-growing analytics and reporting company that provides Power BI-based tools, enabling small and medium-sized businesses to gain valuable insights from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central—without the need for a data warehouse.

They are looking for a versatile professional to take on a dual role as an Account Executive and Sales Engineer. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills combined with technical expertise, allowing them to effectively present the company’s solutions to both business and technical stakeholders.

This position is well-suited for someone who thrives in a startup environment, taking on diverse responsibilities across sales, product development, marketing, and business growth. As the face of the company, you will lead product demonstrations, create technical content, and support business development efforts while also strengthening the company’s presence through industry events, webinars, and social media.

Responsibilities:

• Product Presentation: Present BCI’s product and vision to both business and technical users, supporting prospects and customers through the sales cycle, from demo, to testing, to design and implementation
• Hands-on Technical Support: Work directly with prospects and customers to demonstrate the value of BCI in solving Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central reporting challenges
• Industry Awareness: Stay updated on competitive and complementary technologies, ensuring a deep understanding of the market landscape to effectively position BCI
• Marketing Collaboration: Work with Product Management and Marketing teams to continuously improve BCI’s products and create technical content for distribution on social media
• Spokesperson: Represent BCI at conferences and webinars, promoting thought leadership and generating technical content to drive awareness and engagement
• Business Development: Identify and drive business development opportunities, contributing to revenue growth and long-term customer relationships.

Requirements:

• Strong technical background with experience in SaaS data analytics solutions and ideally experience with Power BI and Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to create content for social media and marketing campaigns
• Previous experience in business development / sales or pre-sales is highly desired (1-2 years)
• Flexibility to take on multiple roles and adapt in a fast-paced, startup environment

Bonus Skills:

• Understanding of Microsoft Power BI and Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Familiarity with company reporting
• Experience with product marketing or content creation (videos)
