AQA Engineer

On behalf of our Client, a well-established financial institution from the Caribbean region Mobilunity is looking for a Senior AQA Engineer. 

Our Client is the largest bank in the Caribbean region that serves 14 countries/territories. The aim is to make this organization from a traditional bank into a new era of fintech, working on the edge of what current fintech may offer.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests for web and API layers
• Translate user stories and acceptance criteria into reliable automated test cases
• Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of automation frameworks
• Research and introduce tools and best practices to improve test efficiency
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with platform teams to optimize test execution in deployment flows
• Analyze test results and report quality status to stakeholders
• Identify, track, and support resolution of defects
• Work closely with AQA Tech Lead, developers, and product teams
• Share automation knowledge and promote testing best practices

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in software testing and using automation testing tools
• Strong experience with API testing
• Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar
• Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools, preferably GitHub Actions
• Experience with Playwright, WebdriverIO or similar
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Level of English – Upper-Intermediate and higher

Nice To Have:

• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch
• Background in banking or financial services
