IT Business Analyst

On behalf of our Client, a well-established financial institution from the Caribbean region Mobilunity is looking for an IT Business Analyst. 

Our Client is the largest bank in the Caribbean region that serves 14 countries/territories. The aim is to make this organization from a traditional bank into a new era of fintech, working on the edge of what current fintech may offer.

We are seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst / Data Analyst to define and deliver requirements for a real-time digital onboarding dashboard. This dashboard will focus on platform and operational metrics (not commercial KPIs), providing real-time visibility into onboarding performance, automation efficiency, and risk areas using tools such as Grafana.

The Senior BA will work closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Compliance teams to translate complex platform behavior into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and dashboard requirements.

Responsibilities:

IT Business Analyst assigned to extract and write user stories for a real-time digital onboarding platform dashboard. This dashboard is focused on platform and operational metrics, not commercial or revenue metrics, which may be tracked separately.
At a minimum, the user stories should cover:

• Completion and drop-off rates across the onboarding flow – MVP
• Time to account opening and activation – MVP
• Manual review and false-positive rates in KYC/AML – MVP
• Fraud controls and incidents prevented
• Cost-to-serve from a platform and automation perspective
• Conversion from applicant to active customer at the platform level – MVP
• The goal is real-time visibility into where the platform is working, where it isn’t, and where friction or risk is being introduced.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in fintech or banking
• Strong experience defining requirements for dashboards, metrics, or analytics platforms
• Hands-on experience working with Grafana
• Understanding of digital onboarding, KYC/AML, and fraud workflows
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field.
• Level of English – Upper-Intermediate and higher.
