Senior DevOps(Azure) Engineer

On behalf of our Client, a well-established financial institution from the Caribbean region, Mobilunity is looking for a Senior DevOps(Azure) Engineer for a long-term engagement.

Our Client is the largest bank in the Caribbean region, serving 14 countries and territories. The organization is undergoing a major digital transformation — moving from a traditional banking model toward a modern fintech ecosystem powered by cutting-edge technology.

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps (Azure) Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our platforms — combining deep hands-on expertise in Azure cloud services, CI/CD automation, and infrastructure as code with strong problem-solving and optimization skills.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure
• Develop, optimize, and support CI/CD pipelines to enable smooth, automated deployments
• Manage and maintain containerized applications using Kubernetes and related tooling
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and ensure high availability across environments
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to streamline delivery processes and improve infrastructure efficiency
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues in production and staging environments

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (compute, storage, networking, monitoring, and security services)
• Proven experience in creating, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
• Practical experience with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting)
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for cloud infrastructure and distributed systems
• Experience managing and supporting production-grade environments with high uptime and security requirements
• Solid understanding of infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, ARM, or Bicep)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher
