Senior Odoo Developer

On behalf of our Client from Switzerland, Mobilunity is looking for a Senior Odoo Developer for a stable long-term engagement.

Our client is a service company founded in 2001 and is now one of the leading European firms specializing in the development and integration of Open Source Software. As the first-ever Gold Odoo Partner in the world, they bring extensive expertise in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) with Odoo, IT Management Systems, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Odoo development.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Strong knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL).
• Active participation in the Open Source community.
• Solid understanding of complex frameworks and architectures (e.g., Odoo core processes, e-commerce, connectors, EDI, etc.).
• Good knowledge of logistics workflows.
• Motivation, attention to detail, and sense of responsibility.
• Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
• Proactive communication skills, both written and verbal, across online and offline channels.
• Experience collaborating in distributed or virtual teams across multiple offices and countries.
• Level of English – Upper-Intermediate and higher

Nice to have:

• Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Background working with other ERP systems.
• Familiarity with profiling and debugging tools and techniques.
• Experience working in Linux environments.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in key Odoo modules (e.g., Sales, Purchase, Inventory, etc.).
